Choose your keywords

Start from the seeds you ticked in the Seed Keywords Planner, or paste your own

Used in local ideas and the AI prompt.
Short, in their words: tradies, councils, first-home buyers.
What you want readers to do next. Goes into the AI prompt.
Extra ideas are added only where they bring a new angle, so a long seed list gets fewer extras.
2

Choose your content ideas

Suggestions, not a to-do list: tick only the ideas you will make

Choose your keywords in step 1 and click Generate content ideas. Your ideas appear here, grouped by customer-journey stage.

3

Check titles and angles with AI (optional)

QA Additions: the AI suggests titles, angles, keywords, a role, tone and call to action; you choose

Generate the QA prompt, run it in any AI, paste the JSON reply back, then pick what you like. Nothing here is required: your working titles still work without it.

4

Develop your ideas with AI

One prompt turns your shortlist into title options, hooks, key points and calls to action

Tick at least one idea in step 2 to build the AI prompt.

Working titles are a starting point. Check facts, prices and claims before you publish; the prompt tells the AI not to invent them.

Next: copy one idea from your Content Ideas Word file into the ⚡ Prompt Assembler as the prompt. It wraps your Business DNA around it to make a Super Prompt for writing that piece.

Content ideas for every stage of the customer journey

Most content plans stall at the top of the funnel: lots of “what is” posts, nothing that helps a buyer compare, check proof or book. Matching each idea to a journey stage keeps your plan balanced, and each keyword already tells you which stage it belongs to.

AwarenessExplainers, how-it-works guides, common mistakes, myths vs facts, short videos.
ConsiderationBuyer’s guides, options compared, checklists, do it yourself or hire an expert.
EvaluationPrice guides, case studies, reviews, questions to ask a provider.
DecisionLocal service pages, quote and booking pages, “what happens next”.
RetentionBest practices, templates, training, measuring results and ROI.

Blog content ideas are only one format. The generator suggests the format that suits each angle: a guide, a short video, a LinkedIn post, an email series, a downloadable checklist or a landing page.

How to generate content ideas in four steps

  1. Start from keywords, not a blank page. Plan and tick your seed keywords in the Seed Keywords Planner; they load here automatically. Or paste your own list.
  2. Match the angle to the stage. “Cost” keywords want a price guide, “near me” wants a local page, “what is” wants an explainer. The generator does this matching for you.
  3. Choose ideas you will actually make. Tick a handful per stage. A short, balanced list beats a long one you never publish.
  4. Develop and brief. Copy the AI prompt to turn your shortlist into title options, hooks and key points. Your ticked ideas are also saved for the Content Brief Generator, which turns one idea into a full brief.

Content ideas: frequently asked questions

What is a content idea generator?

A content idea generator turns a keyword or topic into ideas for blog posts, videos, web pages and social posts. This one starts from your own keywords, matches each one to a stage of the customer journey and suggests an angle, a format and a working title, so every idea has a search reason and a business reason.

Where do the content ideas come from?

From the keywords you ticked in the Seed Keywords Planner, or a list you paste. Each keyword is matched to its customer-journey stage and an angle that suits it, such as an explainer for "what is", a price guide for "cost" or a local page for "near me". Extra angles are added only where they do not repeat one already in your list. Titles are working titles: refine them with the AI prompt.

How many content ideas do I need?

Start small. Three to five ideas per stage gives you a balanced plan for a quarter. Tick only the ideas you will make; the rest stay in the CSV for later.

Do I need to use the Seed Keywords Planner first?

No. Paste your own keywords, one per line. Start a line with a stage name and a colon, such as "Decision: tender writing quote", to set its stage yourself. The planner simply saves you the typing.

Does the Content Idea Generator use AI?

The ideas and working titles are built in your browser, with no AI and no cost. Step 3 builds a prompt you can paste into Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot to turn your shortlist into title options, hooks and key points.

Is the Content Idea Generator free, and where is my data stored?

Yes, it is free with no login. Your keywords, ideas, ticks and your Business DNA stay in your own browser on this device and are never sent to us.
