Copy the AI’s rendered reply, not a download, when the destination is WordPress. The rendered reply carries real headings and tables onto the clipboard; Markdown text pastes as literal ## characters.

Each button copies that brief and opens a blank Canva design at the right size. Open Canva AI in the new design and paste.

Where the image is finished

Generate in Gemini or ChatGPT, not in Canva. Then drag the picture into the sized Canva design and finish it there: exact pixels, file weight, brand kit and any text typed on.

Generating inside Canva is what loses the dimensions: the AI picture keeps its own shape and the canvas size is never applied. Generating elsewhere and dragging it in keeps the design at the size you set.

Two briefs, two images, two jobs. The hero sits at the top of a page someone has already opened, so it can be wide and atmospheric. The share card is a thumbnail in a feed, seen small and with no context around it, competing for the click.

Run brief 1, then brief 2. The second brief carries the first one’s scene, so the two look like a pair without the share card being a squashed hero.

Export the design, not the picture. In Canva use Share → Download → JPG, which saves at the design’s size. Right-clicking the image saves it at whatever shape the generator chose.

Then check the file: it must be exactly 1920×1080 or 1200×630. If it is not, the picture was exported instead of the design.
